If you order an engagement ring and a center stone your ring will come with the center stone set. Do you want to send us a center stone to set in your ring? We will email you a pre-paid Fedex shipping label to send us your stone. All rings come in an elegant Prime Jeweler ring box. All Danhov rings come in an elegant Danhov Box. All rings come with a manufacturer's warranty. All items come with an appraisal. We do not charge sales tax. Engraving is free of charge.

Signature Requirements for Delivery

For orders over $1,000 a signature will be required for delivery. If you are unable to be available for signature on a weekday, we can arrange a Saturday delivery. Call Customer Service 800-839-6207 and we will arrange this for you. If you would like to arrange delivery to a FedEx® location call Customer Service at 800-839-6207.


Select any one of our diamonds and it will be mounted free of charge into the setting of your choice. If you would like to use your own diamond, purchase our setting and we will email you instructions for shipping your stone to us. We will also set your diamond free of charge.

Conflict free diamonds. Prime Jeweler is committed to ensuring that the highest ethical standards are observed when sourcing our diamonds. We support the Kimberley process, which is an International process to track and certify diamonds. In April 2003, congress and President Bush passed a law adopting the Kimberley Process that requires all US diamond retailers to buy diamonds from manufacturers who have documentation warranting that the merchandise was obtained through legitimate channels. Return Policy

Our return policy varies by designer, please read below:

  • Diamonds: Returns not accepted. We can email you a high quality video of any diamonds so you can preapprove the purchase.
  • Charles and Colvard Moissanite: Returns are accepted within 7 days after you receive your order.
  • Atelier Marisa: Returns are accepted within 7 days after you receive your order.
  • Beverley K: Returns are not accepted. We offer a free onetime resizing on Beverley rings ordered with a sizing bar.
  • Borgioni: Returns are accepted within 7 days after you receive your order.
  • For Danhov Rings under $4000 returns are accepted within 7 days after you receive your order. For Danhov Rings over $4000 returns are accepted within one week after you receive your order with a 10% restocking fee. We offer a free resizing one size up or down on all Danhov Rings. 
  • Jude Frances: Returns are not accepted.
  • KC Designs: Returns are accepted within 7 days after you receive your order.
  • Sholdt: Returns are not accepted. We offer a free onetime resizing on Sholdt rings.
  • Valina: Returns are not accepted. We offer a free one time resizing on all Valina Rings.
  • Vatche: Returns are not accepted. We offer a free one time resizing on all Vatche Rings
  • Lafonn: Returns are not accepted.
  • All other designer: Returns are not accepted.

To return your diamond or jewelry:

  1. 1. Call customer service at 1-800-839-6207 or email service@primejeweler.com. Within one business day we will email you a pre-paid, fully insured FedEx 2-Day label, along with instructions on how to safely and securely package your items.
  2. 2.Print out and attach the FedEx Label. Take your order and the label to the nearest FedEx location and simply mail it back to us. If you need packaging materials, FedEx will assist you.
    • 3.Refunds will be processed within 2 days of receipt and in the form of the original purchase method.

Payment Policy

We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, as well as PayPal and Bank Wires. Credit card orders can be placed online using our secure server or over the phone with our customer service department. Some credit cards may institute a daily charge limit on your card. If the price of your order exceeds a daily limit set by your credit card we will notify you and ask you to contact your credit card company and request a one-time waiver of the daily limit amount. If you select bank wire as your method of payment, we will provide the necessary account information to successfully transfer funds from your account into a Prime Jeweler account. Sales Tax

PrimeJeweler.com does not collect sales tax on any orders! We are required to pay sales tax on all order shipped to New York, but we will cover the cost of this. You will not be charged sales tax on your order!

Your jewelry will be delivered in distinctive packaging. It's elegant enough to skip the wrapping paper, and we will enclose a free gift card if you like. All rings come in a Prime Jeweler ring box. All Danhov rings come in a Danhov ring box. Earrings and necklaces come in elegant jewelry pouches.

An appraisal is a document stating the approximate retail replacement value of a piece of jewelry. It is calculated using current market figures, which reflects typical retail prices, in addition to the cut, color, clarity, and carat weight of the gemstone(s), the weight of precious metal included in the item, and the craftsmanship of the item.

Your appraisal ensures that in the case of loss, theft, or damage your insurance agency will give you an equal replacement of your item. Your insurance company can rely on this appraisal to calculate a coverage rate for your diamond or piece of fine jewelry.
